Our crews are professionally trained and certified to install and restore virtually all types of commercial roofing systems available in the industry today, including polyurethane foam, single ply membrane and all types of liquid applied roofing. We use time proven systems that insulate, waterproof, and provide years of performance and cost reduction in re-roofing and new construction applications. We offer 10, 15, and 20 year warranties on all our roofing systems. Many of our systems meet both the EPA’s ENERGY STAR and California Title 24 guidelines and could qualify for LEED credits.


Spray Polyurethane Foam

Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) has many practical and long-lasting benefits and uses:

  • Re-roofing or new construction

  • Provides performance, durability, and cost reduction

  • Often chosen for its long life, energy efficiency, and waterproof qualities

  • Ideal for flat roofs, but can be applied to almost any existing roof and to most roof decks (balconies)

Spray Polyurethane Foam must be sealed with a UV-resistant, elastomeric coating. Coatings can also be used to rejuvenate aged or weathered roofing systems. The elastomeric character of the coating allows it to bridge small cracks and seams to maintain the waterproofing integrity of a roofing membrane. Properly maintained SPF roofing should remain in good condition for over 30 years.

Application

Prior to the application of foam, the existing roof surface is cleaned and pressure-washed to ensure proper adhesion. The roof is then primed followed by the application of Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF). Polyurethane foam can be applied at varying thicknesses, but most commonly used is 1–1.5". Each inch of foam adds an R-value of 7.5. Low areas are filled with additional polyurethane foam to eliminate ponding. Elastomeric coating is applied in two separate coats: gray base coat, then top coat in choice of color. A top coat in white is needed for maximum sun reflection and to meet Title 24 compliance, but top coats can come in a variety of colors. The elastomeric coating is applied in a cross hatch pattern and back-rolled to ensure even coverage. Coping metal is used to terminate foam on parapet walls. All seams are sealed with urethane caulking. This system provides a 10-year, leak-free warranty. Granules can be added to the top coat to extend the life of the warranty to 15, 20, and 25 years. Polyurethane foam will last you a lifetime and should never have to be re-sprayed, however the elastomeric coating must be reapplied when your warranty comes to an end to extend the life of the system and to add an additional 10, 15, 20 or 25 years of warranty. Re-coating your system is a fraction of the cost of the original installation.


Single-Ply Membrane Roofing System

To keep your building cooler, reduce energy consumption, and lower utility bills, we install a comprehensive line of single-ply roofing systems. Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) membranes both deliver excellent weatherability and long term strength and flexibility as well as excellent resistance to punctures and tears. In addition, PVC is exceptionally resistant to chemicals, grease, and UV light. As part of a cool roof solution, white TPO and PVC roofing membranes deliver high reflectivity without an additional coating. This is in contrast to other roofing, typically known as built up roofs (BUR), which utilize hot asphalt and other hazardous components as the roof is constructed in place. Single-ply roof systems provide strength, flexibility, and long-lasting durability to both new roofs and re-cover applications.

Application

Single-ply membrane is typically applied at an average of 40 mils thick, giving the roof a 10 year warranty. TPO can also be applied at a thickness of 60 mils which would give it a 20 year warranty. This roofing system is commonly used in new construction or renovation of commercial roofing. The membrane can be adhered or mechanically fastened to the substrate over the dens deck, which acts as a buffer between the two surfaces and gives the roofing system a class "A" fire rating. Membranes can come in several different colors, as per clients’ request, but the most commonly used color is white to maximize sun reflection. Membranes are typically installed up and over parapet walls to use as counter flashing for metal caps.


Elastomeric Fabric and Coating

As the most comprehensive roof restoration coatings for cool comfort and water tight security, elastomeric coating provides the ultimate in reflectivity, color stability and weather resistance over new or existing roof surfaces. Although it is highly flexible, it exhibits a tough, enamel-like finish that resists abrasion, biological growth, dirt, oil, and all types of weather extremes.

Tile

Tile roof systems provide significant advantages and distinctive architectural aesthetics because of their color, texture, and the play of light and shadow. They are naturally fire-resistant and extremely durable. They are able to withstand harsh environments and, when properly maintained, could provide 50 to 100 years of service life. Concrete and clay tiles, especially light-colored tiles, have energy-efficient properties that can help reduce energy costs.


Shingle

The most popular choice for residential roofing systems is composition roof shingles. It is significantly cheaper than clay tile or slate roofs. Composition roof shingles are available in a wide variety of styles and colors. They require low maintenance and can be walked on without damaging the material. Most brands offer Class A fire protection, which means they have excellent fire resistant properties.
